This commonly referred to as Tondi Squid seafood is mainly exported to the Canadian market as Head On IQF by the Alpex Marine (Pvt) Ltd.

Many species of squid have a life span that is only about one year. The Humboldt squid is very aggressive and will even attack sharks in the water. The only predators that giant squid have are sperm whales. The Colossal Squid is the largest invertebrate in the world.

Cuttlefish is mainly exported in fillet form to Bangkok for reprocessing as double skin fillets which are catered to the Japanese market. And the Cuttlefish tentacles are exported directly to the Japanese market.

Scientific Name: Lollgo Duvauceli


Loligo Squid or otherwise known as Arrow Squid is mainly exported as Head On to Canada and UK markets in IQF form.
